Eng. Rafik Abbassi is one of the most prominent figures of the third generation in the gold and jewelry business in Egypt. He is the head of the Gold Works Division of the Federation of Egyptian Industries and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of “RA” Jewelry Company. He was one of the first supporters of the City of Gold project launched by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, stressing that it will enhance Egypt's position as a regional center for the manufacture and export of jewelry.
